Tug of War World Championships 2023

After eleven years, the Tug of War World Championships will once again be held in Switzerland from 31st August to 3rd September 2023. The venue will be the Sursee Campus in Oberkirch, where the athletes and coaches will have access to an excellent, state-of-the-art infrastructure. More than 1,200 athletes from around 25 nations are expected to compete for medals in twelve age, gender and weight classes at the Tug of War World Championships.

The arena on the Campus Sursee is designed for 5,000 spectators. In the evening, numerous festivities and concerts on the festival ground and the promenade will round off the sporting event and make it an unforgettable World Championships event.
