4. Data Transfer

Your data will only be transferred when necessary:

  • To Partners/Exhibitors: When redeeming a voucher or priority code, the data submitted during redemption will be passed on to the corresponding partner/exhibitor (according to GTC section 1.1).
  • To Technical Service Providers: (e.g., hosting providers, payment providers for payment processing, IT and shipping partners for catalog orders).
  • To Authorities: If we are legally obliged to do so.

Data will not be transferred for other purposes, nor will personal data be sold to third parties.

5. Image and Sound Recordings (Visitors)

By participating in MOTO-ZÜRICH, visitors agree that image and sound recordings on which they are recognizable may be used by Vollenweider & Schweizer GmbH and commissioned media professionals indefinitely in terms of time and location for marketing and communication purposes (in particular for photo series, presentations, video reels, etc.). Close-up recordings of individuals, stands, and exhibits by accredited media professionals require the express consent of the affected individuals/exhibitors (cf. GTC section 9).

6. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure. The transmission of sensitive data, especially during the ordering and payment process, is encrypted (e.g., SSL/TLS).

7. Cookies and Tracking

The platform may use cookies and similar technologies to enable, simplify, and evaluate usage. You can deactivate cookies in your browser settings, which may, however, limit the platform's functionality.

8. Social Plugins and Analysis Tools

Our platform may use social plugins (e.g., Meta/Facebook, Instagram) and web analysis services (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze and improve the use of our services. Data may be transferred to and stored by providers both domestically and abroad.

9. Advertising and Newsletter

The data collected during orders or accreditations may be used to inform you about other MOTO-ZÜRICH products, services, or future events. Marketing information will only be sent with your consent or where legally permitted. You have the option at any time to unsubscribe from newsletters or marketing emails using the unsubscribe link contained in the message.

10. Rights of the Data Subjects

You have the right to:

  • Information about the data stored about you.
  • Correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion or restriction of processing (where legally permissible).
  • Objection to direct marketing.

Inquiries must be submitted in writing to the contact email address mentioned in Section 1.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. The current version will always be available on the MOTO-ZÜRICH website.
